NEEM OIL is an oil pressed from the fruits and seeds of the Neemtree (Azadirachta indica). NEEM OIL is a naturally occurring pesticide, is yellow to brown in colour, has a bitter taste, and a garlic/sulfur smell. It has been used for hundreds of years to control pests and diseases.
NEEM OIL contains a compound called Azadirachtin that is useful for fighting common plant pests such as fungus, gnat larvae, spider mites, and grasshoppers. Once Azadirachtin has been ingested by pests, it acts as an appetite suppressor (or anti-feedant) and growth inhibitor causing failure to molt and starvation.
This product is supplied online in 3 sizes: 1 litre, 5 litres and 25 litres. Larger quantities are to be ordered via orders@vuna-agri.com.
Our NEEM OIL is cold pressed, pure and undiluted. This method of extraction ensures the integrity of the active ingredient Azadirachtin is maintained.
Included with all our Neem oil is an organic emulsifier which needs to be mixed with the Neem oil prior to application using in a sprayer. 1L of NEEM OIL concentrate makes 200L of sprayable mixture.
